Boyne Hill beat North Maids in Julian Cup

A phenomenal team display from Boyne Hill saw off local rivals North Mids in the Julian Cup quarter final on Tuesday. The Hill batted first scrambling their way to 112 with useful contributions from Ronayne Chucrhill Brown, Richard Hobson, Don Pike and Forzan Hamza.

In reply North Maids struggled early on aside of ex hill player Dave Shaw. Azhar Meo and Martin Preston struck early and altugh N.Maids accelerated wickets continued to fall to Churchill Brown and Hamza. With 13 needed from the last over Churchill Brown held his nerve and bowled Dozzer (jnr) to seal a famous win by 10 runs.

Boyne Hill now play Pinkneys Green in the semi final at Burnham on June 24th.

Outdoor nets for 1st XI players will take place every Tuesday from 6.30pm throughout the summer. It is important that all players do try to attend these sessions with competition for places high.
